Home Delivery Co Launch New POD Emailing Service

12/06/2008 – Home Delivery Co launches new POD email service. Leading UK furniture logistics supplier, Home Delivery Co, has launched a new daily email POD service for its customers.

Introduced following customer feedback the new system allows customers to pre-select the ability to receive copies of their signed delivery notes via email on a daily or weekly basis.

Justin Nellist, Home Delivery Co IT Manager commented ‘Although we have offered scanned PODS via HomeTrak for a number of years the new service will allow our customers to receive their POD's directly to nominated email addresses or alternatively directly onto an FTP server’.

He added ‘The service will also facilitate more efficient invoicing by our customers whilst being environmentally beneficial compared to the current hard copy / post system, a fact which has already been recognised by a number of our high profile customers’.
